The first ever Cincinnati Bassmasters’ Open at Brookville Lake was a huge success! The weather cooperated with a frigid but clear morning for our 41 boat field. The past week’s weather and fluctuating water temps made it tough for some, but others figured the bite out and brought in some quality Brookville Bass! Cole Wess/ Nathan Raleigh took 1st place (over $1000) with a 17.17lb bag followed by 2nd place Bert VanFleet/ Trey Quinlan with 14.26lbs and 3rd place Matt Cozad/ Austin Thome with 11.68lbs. Big bass for the event was a 5.06lb Largemouth weighed in by Mike Vining/ Mark Williams ($410). This event had great payouts and raised $500 for Cincinnati Youth Bass. We greatly appreciate all who came out to support our club along with Cincinnati Youth Bass. Special thanks to Zak Williams for taking on Tournament Director for the event and all of the support from Lance Ringhand. Their coordinating efforts along with support from other Club members made this Event a success!
